Hi guys, I won’t be able to write for a while. My MacBook Pro, GApple
Jr II, is dying. You guessed it, GApple is a contraction of Gaelle and
Apple. It’s the second since a malignant thief broke into my house a couple of years ago and take away GApple I along with the rest of my life. I miss GApple I so far, but GApple Jr II has given me so much joy.
I just dropped it to an Apple Center. They’ll take the week to check
out what’s wrong. I can’t tell you how I miss Palo Alto’s genius bars.
The Geniuses used to talk to GApple, comfort it, tell it that
everything is gonna be ok, they won’t to let it down. I swear GApple was quivering while they was just
touching lightly its robust yet soft aluminium body, opened it and auscultated it. GApple wax back home after 48 hours. Unfortunately, even Paris, France hasn’t got a single Genius bar I may rush in.
GApple’s status seems pretty
serious. It almost burned out Saturday morning. I called AppleCare. We performed some tests while GApple was always working. The guy
couldn’t diagnose anything bad right away, but the symptoms I
described make him feel something quite severe was happening. He told
me to bring GApple to an Apple Center as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, stores are closed in France on Sunday
and this Apple Center is closed on Saturday AND Sunday. You know, It’s la Province. GApple went into coma a couple of minutes after I hung up. Today morning, I was waiting for the center opening at 5 to 9 holding GApple tight against my chest. They took it. They promise they’ll try hard to reanimate it. They told me not to panic. Maybe it’s just a burn out. Maybe they can fix it with some rest and reseting. But I should get prepared to a motherboard transplant … (sigh) Guys, I really feel anxious.
I’m writing from my iPhone. I must say WordPress for iPhone is pretty well done. But typing with one finger instead of 9 is boring.
Best of week to all of you.
