because the endless space make me feel free and I’ve never seen similar fashion campaign. Karl’s the boss outa there

Le parcours de travail de Karl Lagerfeld

As I expected when I hit La Maison Europenne de la Photographie last week end, the line was ridiculously short. I wanted to attend Karl Lagerfeld’s Parcours de Travail exhibit, and Patrimony week end was just the good days to do it. Patrimony week end is a 2 days long event that opens the doors of building usually hidden to the public. Parisian and tourist alike may visit for free ministry palaces

A bitting Karl Lagerfeld got interviewed by French Elle

An as usual scathing Karl Lagerfeld replies to Interview Vanity of May 2010 issue of French Elle.
Below some pearls. Bitting and funny as only Karl knows how to do it.

Mademoiselle Chanel’s apartment in Paris

I had the privilege to visit Mademoiselle Chanel’s apartment at Rue Cambon, Paris above the principal luxury store. I was glad to make it. Though the store and fitting room are known, the apartment itself is hardly opened to mass.

I’m not being very original saying that, since it’s from Karl. And everything that Karl does, everyone into fashion likes it. But I really like this campaign.

Vanessa Paradis is once again Chanel muse

For the fourth time, Vanessa Paradis teams up with Chanel as the face of one collection. This time, it’s about the upcoming Chanel lipstick line due to release by March 2010.

Madeleine Vionnet, a fashion purist
“What I did is not fashion. It was designed to last forever” said the woman known as the architect of dressmakers. I attended Madeleine Vionnet, puriste de la mode, exhibit last week at The Musée des Arts Décoratifs (107 rue de Rivoli, Paris, Mo Palais Royal). Thrice I was in Paris in the last months, twice I couldn’t attend the exhibit. You imagine how I was thrilled to eventually do it last week. The exhibit lasts until end of January 2010 and showcases more than 130 (fairy) dresses that Vionnet fabricated. I was stunned to figure out how modern the dresses are. They date back to the beginning of the century and they look like contemporary dresses. If you pay a visit, do not hesitate to take the guided tour to understand the era’s context and get full explanation about Madeleine Vionnet’s talent.
