I haven’t been blown away by Paris Fashion week. Though it’s the first time that I’m doing this broader coverage of the 4 major fashion capitals, it’s the first time that I’m left bored by Paris Fashion Week. The neutral were dull, the block color too yellow-only, the yellow were too neon even for me who absolutely love this color. My slideshow is way less stuffed than London and New York Fashion weeks. Come on Paris!
I’ve wasted some time to understand once for all that I couldn’t get the luxurious, dark, curved lashes that models get in advertising.
Now, I don’t doubt anymore that it’s achieved with … fake lashes. Ok, it’s never been said anywhere it was all natural.
Dior’s Eau Sauvage advertising is displayed everywhere in Paris. The model is younger Alain Delon, a french actor as know for his movie career as his breathtaking look. He got mostly casted for playing corrupted characters or lovers. With about 100 movies, he’s also a producer, a writer and a director. In France Delon is a bit like Eiffel Tower. He’s a national symbol. He’s a pride. He’s somewhat our French Robert Redford … or Paul Newman. He embodies the handsome guy who has grown older, wiser and smarter.
Unlike Raf Simons, Dior got it darker and less structured.
Figures are way manly and lines look like they’re flying around.
