Daria Werbowy’s look is so magnetic. Her face has been everywhere lately from Stefanel to O de Lancome perfume to H&M Fall campaign. Everytime she stands beside waiting for the bus with me, I can’t keep myself from scrutinizing her pic. No … Daria and I are bus stop buddies actually.
You remember this Dior ad of Delon, the French actor. Lancel did the same with younger Brigitte Bardot.

This Cartier’s ad caught my eyes in that it’s not spectacular an ad. For a synonymous of luxury, I’d expect more sparkling jewels than mere engagement and wedding bands and their boxes. I mean it’s as if H&M would display a pouch rather than Daria in a sexy swimwear or Apple advertising the box of the iPad rather than the device itself.
Though, Cartier is such a house’s label, that I can picture wonders in those boxes.
No need to show bling bling off. Simple and classy. How powerful is that?
I’ve wasted some time to understand once for all that I couldn’t get the luxurious, dark, curved lashes that models get in advertising.
Now, I don’t doubt anymore that it’s achieved with … fake lashes. Ok, it’s never been said anywhere it was all natural.
Dior’s Eau Sauvage advertising is displayed everywhere in Paris. The model is younger Alain Delon, a french actor as know for his movie career as his breathtaking look. He got mostly casted for playing corrupted characters or lovers. With about 100 movies, he’s also a producer, a writer and a director. In France Delon is a bit like Eiffel Tower. He’s a national symbol. He’s a pride. He’s somewhat our French Robert Redford … or Paul Newman. He embodies the handsome guy who has grown older, wiser and smarter.
Vanessa Paradis keeps it strong with Chanel handbags ad campaign.
I came thru the making of of Kate Moss and Gaspard Ulliel advertising for Longchamp back in 2008 at Cafe de Flore, Paris.
I missed this campaign as I were living in the US that year. The campaign renders the whole Paris cliché picture with the intimate and vintage interior of Café de Flore. Look at this cup of tea. Today, you find that out only at your grandmother countryside home. Yet, it’s not the campaign itself that’s stunning. It’s more the characters.
The model who’s doing it of course: Victoria’s Secret angel Marisa Miller.
Do you think that Harley Davidson bikers are gonna recognize themselves in the person of new Srping 2010 campaign babe? I can’t say. I’m not one. Do you think they’re gonna hit new customers? Sure!

Is that scary? It’s not really what I’d expect from Lanvin as a visual …
But, it’s very Inès Van Lamwsweered and Vinodh Matadin.
Here, the photographers turned models and shoot themselves. Sober black covered Matadin has almost been eaten by glamazon red Van Lamsweered. The pic is fierce. It stops me from going farther. What do they want to say? Is this Lanvin’s willing? Is this Lanvin’s message? Or is this the photographer couples word?
I bumped into this ad a few weeks ago staring Daria Werbowy at Stefanel store at Saint Germain des Prés. God she’s sensual.

Last week end, I was in the bus #95 coming down to home when I pass a poster for Passionnata with Bar Rafaeli. I didn’t even remember that she had been endorsing the lingerie label last november 09.

I was reading an interview of Julianne Moore saying that she’s not comfortable with nude scenes. Everytime she’s got one, she thinks “last time”. And then she gets a good script with a nude scene. And she goes for it. She said that she’s being vain about it and work out and diet to prepare nude scenes.

I like the way she’s straight about it. Rather than saying “I don’t care. I don’t diet”. I think she just became my favorite actress with such a candid statement.
This ad makes me think about Douanier Rousseau paintings.
I’m not being very original saying that, since it’s from Karl. And everything that Karl does, everyone into fashion likes it. But I really like this campaign.
Elisabetta Canalis is the new face of Roberto Cavalli underwear Spring/ Summer 2010 collection.

What’s funny is that I used to not like Louis Vuitton a lot. The reasons are plenty.

It seems that Dolce & Gabbanna are getting obsessed with simplicity and kitchen.
The face of Helena Rubinstein perfume ‘Wanted’ asks us to tell her what we want from a man or a woman in terms of qualities or … physical attributes. Oh oh oh!
Nope! She’s not giving us a way to turn nasty. She wants it

The photoshoot of ‘La Parisienne’ ad took place in Paris in March 09
Ange ou Demon Le Secret TV ad
The song in this TV ad used to haunt me for days once I heard it. ‘Je suis Ange ou Demon, mais personne ne le sait. Je suis Ange ou Demon et c’est la mon secret’ (I am an Angel or a Devil, but nobody knows it, I am an Angel or a Devil, and that is my secret)
I found out those 2 ads featuring Jose Luz, Madonna’s sweetheart. I am not a big fan of Jose Luz. Yeah, I know. He’s not into me neither AND he doesn’t even know I exist. Let’s say he’s not my type at all. And you? Hot ot not?

Ouch! Those male Givenchy leather pants look sexy. What do you think guys? Would you wear those?

I was talking about Christian Louboutin fascination for movie making. Seems he really enjoys the experience. You don’t know how to use properly Louboutin crystal stiletto and enjoy your Rituel box Piper Heidsieck champagne? Well, follow the guide! So sexxy
Piper Heidsieck – Le Rituel box set
I never saw the new Chanel n°5 new ad while I was living on March in the past 5 months. Audrey Tautou is the new face of the famous perfume. She follows Nicole Kidman 5-year-as-égérie. Audrey Tautou is a French actress famed since her breakthrough role as Amélie in Le fabuleux destion d’Amélie Poulain or Amélie (international title). Her appointment as Chanel n°5 spokesmodel comes with her role as Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel in Coco Avant Chanel or Coco before Chanel (international title).
