Photoshop has just released an app for iPhone. For free. Wait wait wait. Don’t jump off of your chair (as I did). Photoshop.com Mobile for iPhone is barely an extension of photoshop.com, a website for storing, sharing, editing pics. It’s nothing like the famously expensively awesome software sporting the same name.

Photoshop.com Mobile helps you store your pics directly on www.photoshop.com allowing storage space saving on your iPhone. Useful editing features are cropping rotating, flipping, setting exposure, saturation, applying sketch or soft focus filters, applying vibrant, pop, vignette blur effects, among others. Well, the app could be useful if I was in a hurry to publish a breaking post about an event that is happening. Or if I am Mac less as I am right now. Otherwise, I guess iPhone screen is too tiny to really spend time on it instead of my iPhoto. But geek I was, geek I keep being, I confess I would be happy to give it a try. It’s for free guys! Nope. Only US and Canada users are allowed to download the app. The rest of the world is punished.

Otherwise, the ad campaign has worked. Now I know there’s a photoshop website I may consider for storing my pics and sharing my pics via … blogging for example. So do you.

Hey skillful post, I actually enjoyed it, especially concerning the second commentary that you made. The only thing I have to bring up to you would be viewing the website through the Konquerer browser… for several reason it does not seem to load the web site along with the sidebar seems to break – might want to check that out!
