Nicolas Sarkozy, the French President enters this year in British GQ worst dressed list at the 3rd rank, Russell Brand being the 2nd and Gordon Brown, the British prime minister being the first.

The pic GQ picked is not flattering. I guess it was at the UN Summit of climate in NYC back in September 09. The guy is known in France for bringing his primer minister François Fillon up to his jog outing. I’m not sure Fillon is appreciative.
But anyway. The pic is mean. I take GQ ranking as a personal slam since my taxes pay for that. Wake up dude. That’s life. Don’t believe that your president pays his outfits out of his pocket. Since I can’t treat myself with my money, I can’t accept that British GQ comes and tell that MY expenses are ugly. Yes, mine! And I get pics to support it.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy at the French Embassy of UK

The suit is impeccable. The suit collar is nice, not too big (queer-like), not too tiny (lack of personality-like). The shoulders are wide-right. The tie knot is well done and big enough. I would say it’s a Windsor knot. Usually I don’t like black tie with black suit. But here, the waffle pattern on stripes is welcome. Cufflinks are sober and elegant. Yes he has a weird … face and hand gesture (He’s known for that as well. It’s another French press private joke), but we are not talking about that.

Here his shirt’s between yellow and white color is due to the light. Look at the other’s shirt and faces. Bad light. The shirt collar’s points are straight.

I don’t like his jacket. Too large, too long. Pants are not fitted enough. I guess he picked an old suit dating back in the period before he lost weight. My taxes are happy. My fashion eye is not. His accessory (his wife) is well chosen. Don’t be so precious. I’m kidding. I like to consider my sweetheart my accessory. It means that we match each other.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy at France's Armistice Day

Dude, the man gets style. The coat is fitted at shoulder and waist. The figure is almost perfect. Nope, he’s not tall. He gets charisma.

I guess that he likes to torture his bodyguards when he doesn’t have the prime minister at hand. Hey! The guy is in his 50s.

Perfect blue mood. Tie knot is perfect. No belly to out the shirt while the posture is prone to relax the abs. The tie is it too long or is it the pic?

French President and wife Carla Bruni arrive G20 summit in Pittsburg

Perfect match with his favorite accessory. The plane outing is relaxed and elegant.

This pic confirms that Nicolas Sarkozy gets Bespoke suits. The suit is so well tailored that it lengthens him and makes him look as tall as Obama is. He has great figure. Fitted waist, lengthened legs and pointed shoes. I love love Sarkozy tie knots.

French President and wife Carla Bruni at G20 summit in Pittsburg

Almost perfect. The jacket is way too long. The jacket with Obama and both wives above looks like shorter and much better.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy at UN General Assembly

Same feeling than I had with the first pic.

There’s clearly an issue with GQ ranking. Do British folks get jealous of French people?

Ok, I cannot say that the man is great tall. But the man gets style.
