My assignment this week is to find a present out for my sister-in-law Valentine day.

My brother e-mailed me 2 days ago a bracelet he wanted to offer to his sweetheart. The bracelet was nice, but way too expensive for what it was worth. I couldn’t say to my brother. “Dude, it’s uglyly expensive! Find something else”. I can’t! You agree? Now I am searching the web something nicer. The task is hard since my sister-in-law and I are very different to each other. I’m rather feminine. She’s tomboy. I like sporting one bold piece that makes a difference. She loves several smaller pieces. She’s more bling. And I’m talking about someone I spent only 2 weeks with last year. I’m talking about someone who was yawning while I was talking talked about my quest for my sister’s wedding last summer. But my brother is my hero, and I can’t let him down. So I went to think as a tomboy would and guess what would make my eyes sparkle for Valentine day. My brother’s first choice was a bracelet, so I went for jewellery and other accessories on my favorite websites: Net-a-Porter, The Outnet and Luisa Via Roma.

This Kenneth Jay Lane bracelet is bold and delicate. It’s bling. I guess she may wear it to uplift a jean. My brother liked the darker one. But dark jewels doesn’t fit dark skin. It’s dull. €120 at The Outnet

The simplicity of the Giles & Brother leather thread with just a hook drew my attention. It may look unexpected with a little black dress worn with a bold belt or amazing shoes. €126 at Net a Porter.

This Burberry belt is a timeless piece. The missing accessory for her blue jeans & white shirt. €175 at Burberry website.

This Vanessa Bruno clutch is a hit. It’s been a long time I’m watching it out. The leather is supple and so soft to touch.

It may accesorize her tomboy outfit or a more feminine dresses (Nope, I never saw her wearing a dress). €220 at The Outnet.

A Burberry sweater. Classic. Nothing amazing. But something I would like to get offered, because I would never put that money on sweater, even a burberry, by myself. But I would love having it as a gift. €325 at Net-a-Porter.

Tomorrow, Printemps Haussmann shut its doors off at 10 pm, like every Thursday. Galeries Lafayette shut its off at 9 pm. I guess I am going to pay a visit.
