I’ve wasted some time to understand once for all that I couldn’t get the luxurious, dark, curved lashes that models get in advertising.

Now, I don’t doubt anymore that it’s achieved with … fake lashes. Ok, it’s never been said anywhere it was all natural.

Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effets Faux Cils

My mom gets them truly full, dark, long and curved. She was kind enough to give the perk to my big brother. Yet, she forgot about me. Mine are dark, but way shorter and lighter.

Mascaras really dresses up my look and even beyond that, my whole face. Whether I go out bare face, I always put some on the tips of my lashes.

I had been a YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils mascara devotee for years. Last year, I decided stopping throwing that money into some mascara and ended up with Rimmel Magnif’Eye mascara. The stick is 3 times cheaper. My lashes are twice better looking. It made me understand, by the way, that my lashes weren’t that short. What I needed was more curve than length indeed. Maybe mom didn’t forget about me after all.
