Marc Jacobs discusses about his tenure at Vuitton and addresses the rumors about Dior in French Vogue of February. But the most interesting part to me is how he deals with stress and creativity.

It's a given that artists are one of a kind and therefore more sensible to pressure and afraid of the wild world outa there. I honestly think it's bullshit as everyone of us is exposed to pressure at some points in life, and it's all the more true in our competitive world. I can talk for white collars, because it's the population I'm part of, but I think it's applicable to any of the millions of slaves who got to work every day, cope with commuting, do their best at the office, and still feel irresponsible toward kids, parents, friends as they do not pay bigger attention to them.

I tried hard to get inspired but I was expecting more color block and more prints (I mean wearable nice prints). Sometimes an unsurprising collection is better than a disappointing one, don't you think?

My beautician is making me switch over to Dermalogica products. My fav is the daily microfoliant which really washes off my face from all dead cells and daily dust and brightens my complexion wonderfully. I start over enjoying water on my face 4 years after I banned it over 'micellaire' solutions like Bioderma's. I refilled last month and the package was overwrapped into a secondary one inviting to make a microloan to a small entrepreneur. I didn't need to pay any more money, I already paid for it when I purchased the product (clever isn't it?)

I got back home tonight at 7 exhausted, angry, revolted, depressed from a f...$%*€$$%...g working day having got pressured by my workmates. I heated my vegetable soup in the microwave (pumpkin, home made ... delicious), and drunk my bowl of milk reading my preferred blogs Mode Personnelle (hilarious), Just Jared (shouldn't but so nice to gossip), Cafe Mode (educated from a French fashion journalist). Feeling still harassed, I tuned in to My Yoga Online to find some excruciating class. Started one and stopped at 30 min as I was lying face down on my mat my jaw in my hand gazing at the guy. Off to shower (10 minutes boiling water on my back .... oh god so good), got back to my computer and thought 'If I write a post, I have million of notes and ideas on hold.'

Taking photos (the Alps are not bad), planning my next vacations (by end of May/ beg of June, there's a couple of weeks off peak) and improving my blog look (whicjh I'm struggling with for almost one year now as I'm no techie, just computing savvy) are the most cumbersome of my activities

I've always wondered how Grace Jones sculpted her updo. I wasn't shocked by her longer neck or her wider mouth. No no no. I was appealed by her haircut. You agree with me that her physical attributes are jaw dropping be it your taste or not. But besides her fascinating body and her role in James Bond, I figured out how much Jean Paul Goude contributed to make from her a timeless, unforgettable bombshell.

Way before Adobe seeded the idea of Photoshop, Jean Paul Goude used to cut out his negatives to make his pictures look as he was envisioning them. This stunning photo of Grace Jones singing and holding a ballet dancer pause .... well! it's a fake! It's cut out pieces of negatives taped together to reproduce the master's view.

I spent my summer walking accross Hyde Park whenever I could.

When I moved in to London, my friends all told me how lucky I was to live nearby Hyde Park and how wonderful the park was in summer. But in January, the naked trees looked just depressing. I was like what's the fuss with Hyde Park, I want my Bois de Boulogne in London. Then spring blossomed and after summer heat up and sad grey turned to pale green to vivid green and pink, yellow, blue (sky) (like fashion actually!). It's hard to believe that you actually walk in town as it's big enough for you not to see one end from the other. The Bois de Boulogne is not in Paris indoor, it's actually in a nearby town called Boulogne Billancourt.

I got my hands on a H4D at the Hasselblad Master day of London. I took the day off a couple of weeks ago and got myself to Shoreditch at the Hasselblad Studio. Amateurs like me, pro and Hasselblad master finalist attended. Some had flown from France or Spain. It was good fun to meet up with such a wide panel of photographers.

The Hasselblad studio is fitted with an office space, a kitchen, a room for the models to get prepared and a mezzanine overlooking the shooting space.

I haven't been blown away by Paris Fashion week. Though it's the first time that I'm doing this broader review: all major fashion capitals commented on, it's the first time that I'm left bored by Paris Fashion Week. The neutral were dull, the block color too yellow-only, the yellow were too neon even for me who absolutely love this color. My slideshow is way less stuffed than London and New York Fashion weeks. Come on Paris!

Zara is great for a quick fix. You know for items you feel like they will last for 2 seasons and go off. I tried on pretty much all the clothes on display at the ground floor of the Knightsbridge flagship and I made my mind on a classic black woolen (+polyester + acetate) straight pant for the office, navy blue denim cropped pants and one color block red silk blouse for ... wait for it ... £150. My Amex felt disoriented. My bank advisor is gonna call me tomorrow morning to greet me hopefully!

After the dark lobby, you get in a tropical garden of flowers, a built in fountain and fish ponds underneath wooden bridges. It's awesome! The meals are a bit spicier than they are in Paris, but as yummy. All ingredients are of the finest quality. The choice is huge and the refill is for free.

Let me introduce you to Paddington basin at the back of Paddington train station going toward Edgware Road. There's a kind of water pond it's nice to stroll along rather than walking Praed Street.

For some days, the pond is covered with a green something, I guess it's pollen. It's so neon as a green that it looks like some chemical contamination.
