I bumped into this ad a few weeks ago staring Daria Werbowy at Stefanel store at Saint Germain des Prés. God she’s sensual.

I came back last week to try on some clothes. This dress looked so sexy that I could have seen myself wearing it in the Caribbean I won’t hit next summer because I’ll get stuck in Paris. (Yep, it’s confirmed. No vacancies for myself this summer).

You know what? I love the ad. Yet, I don’t like the collection a lot. It’s not the first time I’m draw into this store. Once there I can’t find something I like enough to pour that money in.

Stefanel is pretty classic. This summer is white, beige, slouchy shirts and loose dresses. Easy wearing. Easy going.

Another thing that stunned me was the outfits are not tailored for people like Daria. I guessed that if they model Daria or Gisele for their ad, they used to dress tall people. Yep, I can be naïve. I tried a dress on I would expect under my knees. Not at all. Above the knees.

Ok! One outfit I’ll go get at summer sales is an oversized long lengthened cardigan I felt comfy in. But it was mere cotton. At €160. Ok! Let’s say it’s a big quality. Something that’ll last so long that I’ll pass it on to my daughter. I’ll know in a few months.
