Marc Jacobs discusses about his tenure at Vuitton and addresses the rumors about Dior in French Vogue of February. But the most interesting part to me is how he deals with stress and creativity. It's a given that artists are one of a kind and therefore more sensible to pressure and afraid of the wild world outa there. I honestly think it's bullshit as everyone of us is exposed to pressure at some points in life, and it's all the more true in our competitive world. I can talk for white collars, because it's the population I'm part of, but I think it's applicable to any of the millions of slaves who got to work every day, cope with commuting, do their best at the office, and still feel irresponsible toward kids, parents, friends as they do not pay bigger attention to them.

My beautician is making me switch over to Dermalogica products. My fav is the daily microfoliant which really washes off my face from all dead cells and daily dust and brightens my complexion wonderfully. I start over enjoying water on my face 4 years after I banned it over 'micellaire' solutions like Bioderma's. I refilled last month and the package was overwrapped into a secondary one inviting to make a microloan to a small entrepreneur. I didn't need to pay any more money, I already paid for it when I purchased the product (clever isn't it?)

I'm off relaxing in the Alps with family for one week and for once I get time to think and plan rather than rush as I'm used to do ever since I moved back to Paris and London. Taking photos (the Alps are not bad), planning my next vacations (by end of May/ beg of June, there's a couple of weeks off peak) and improving my blog look (whicjh I'm struggling with for almost one year now as I'm no techie, just computing savvy) are the most cumbersome of my activities

I slept at city garden hotel last night in Zug, Switzerland. I usually hate traveling for work. Waking up at 6am, queuing at the airport, getting stripped at security gate, put out your coat, scarf, jacket, shoes, belt, pull out the laptop, the second personal one, the camera, get bipped, cross back the gate, strip further, pass the security once more, put everything back on and in, queuing at the gate, queuing to take your seat, have a Pitt look alike seating on this seat " seats behind yours... For what? For work! ... not even vacations! See what I mean?

Hyde Park this summer, London

I spent my summer walking accross Hyde Park whenever I could. When I moved in to London, my friends all told me how lucky I was to live nearby Hyde Park and how wonderful the park was in summer. But in January, the naked trees looked just depressing. I was like what's the fuss with Hyde Park, I want my Bois de Boulogne in London. Then spring blossomed and after summer heat up and sad grey turned to pale green to vivid green and pink, yellow, blue (sky) (like fashion actually!). It's hard to believe that you actually walk in town as it's big enough for you not to see one end from the other. The Bois de Boulogne is not in Paris indoor, it's actually in a nearby town called Boulogne Billancourt.

On my way out to Guiana last week, I stopped one day in Paris to have my hair cut and shop beauty products to refill my bathroom cabinet. I am loyal to my Sisley products, which are cheaper in France, and nothing is as good as the beauty products I've been purchasing in French pharmacies for years.

Yeah I know what you're thinking. My posts' titles are repetitive. But it's green, and it was red yesterday. Let me introduce you to Paddington basin at the back of Paddington train station going toward Edgware Road. There's a kind of water pond it's nice to stroll along rather than walking Praed Street. For some days, the pond is covered with a green something, I guess it's pollen. It's so neon as a green that it looks like some chemical contamination.

Introducing here a Londoner in her bikini sunbathing in Hyde Park. In town! I do not usually consider myself a conservative. But it looks like Londoners don't feel that embarrassed to leaf their clothes off. Would you dare doing the same in town? I never dared doing it in Paris. I'd felt naked! Well! I think it's time to change. I'm in next week (provided summer's still on, which is not guaranteed at all)

This is metro Maubert Mutualité station (I guess. I hardly remember, but it should be this one). The underground is just a convenience for me. I don't really like traveling that way. I take the bus whenever I can in London as well. But this roof is just stunning!

Spring is definitely on. Ok, it's London! Mercury doesn't rise that high. Though, I felt the air warmer yesterday when I went out for a run in Hyde Park vs. the Sunday before. You know, even though I still carry a warm sweater, or even my wool coat in case, I peeled off 2 layers for a couple of weeks. I really feel like that wind, which used to be frozen, is getting warmer. You see what I mean?

Last Saturday, I dropped by at Superdrug beauty store to purchase some hair accessories, and after having paid for my basket, I noticed the girl with her cotton thread working on one client face. Superdrug is just at the corner of the street I live in. I like to stop by even for 5 minutes just for the sake of it. You know just like a little girl who likes glitter, chiffons and make up. Over the couple of months I have lived around, I haven't noticed the brow bar. The reason is it's usually closed when I come back home after work. The entire face may be done with the threading technique: cheeks, lips eyebrows.

was as perfect as any last thing should be. It was mid January. So quite unusual and precious. I hit the Club Med Gym at 10 am and look around Paris from the 22nd floor of the Pullman Hotel across the high roofed glass windows. The air was so clear and the sky was so blue that I felt capable to reaching out the Sacré Coeur over there with my finger.

It's been so long that I haven't visited my own blog that I hardly remember my password to log in. It's done. I'm a proud Londoner for 1 week and 3 days, 7 hours, and 50 min, 23 sec, 25, 26, anyway... And I enjoy. I enjoy so much being there. I enjoy having moved on from Paris. I enjoy having moved on into a newly minted neighborhood in that it's not only a different place, but also it's different cultures. People speak so much different languages around me.

La Parisienne, the parisian girls’ race

Today morning held the 14th edition of La Parisienne race. It's a 6 km (4 miles) race intended for female only to register. The official figure was 22 000 registered females I planned to wake up early to shoot pics and I eventually spent more time than planned in bed. Sunday ... It's hard dude.

Deauville, the 21th arrondissement of Paris

Deauville is located West Northern of France, 2 hours driving from Paris. It's called the 21th arrondissement of Paris since most wealthy parisian people own a cottage there to spend the week end at the beach not far from the city. I got excited to go there for the first time since the city is famed for being lovely. I planned my trip to take half time working, half time strolling and taking pics in between the lectures my host planned.

is a once-the-sun-is-shinning sport. A sunny weekend get lots of Parisian attracted at terraces whether it's cold or hot. The truth is you can understand that behavior only when you live in Paris and you crave for some sun all year long. I guess I found out one big terrace place fraud in Paris at Montparnasse.
