I put my life on hold by Saturday afternoon to tune in to Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010 Men collection broadcast. This Fall RTW 2010 collection thread is military.

Jacket, shoulder, buttons and ankle cuff boots make me think about Inglorious Bastards’ Brad Pitt.

Next to all models donned those ankle cuffs over their pants. One style that was ladies’ territory just months ago. The way Bailey’s mixed up fabric pants and ankle cuffs is another of his hits. Have you ever tried to wear your boots over your office suit’s pants? I’m trying that everyday those days since out there is snowy and rainy. I’m sick of freezing my toes and trashing my wet leather shoes up. I walk with my don’t-miss-my-feet silver rain boots and I change for flats at the office. But those rubber boots over my suit’s pants is merely ugly (It’s the reason why I decided that it would be the ugliest ever, and chose them silver colored). Usually wearing boots over my jeans, treggings or leggings is ok. It’s not with my suits’ pants. (Nope, I don’t wear treggings at the office, and jeans is Friday-wear). Bailey skillfully managed to render this look nice.

This dual coat is a hit. Long vs. short, winter vs. autumn, wise vs. sexy. Good to go everywhere.

Pairing mid length coat and ankle cuffs is not so obvious. It may shorten one. I guess the slim pants helps to keep figure lengthened.

The winter is so painful this year that I get attracted to everything that looks warm and comfy. This coat does. Usually I wouldn’t like it because its fur makes it look bigger.

It’s not for the outfit that I selected this pic, though I like the pants (color and shape together). The cardigan is a bit too old-style for myself. It’s not for the bag either. It’s for the way the model wears his bag. It’s been quite some time that male totes their handbags with no complex. But usually, they don’t put it on shoulders as we ladies do. Burberry Prorsum is leading a revolution here.

This teddy bear fur looks just comfy and elegant.

The color is less bright and and I don’t like its bouclé effect. But I love the way the model wears an oversized coat with slim pants.

Usually versized pull or coat looks like bathsuit. This one doesn’t.

I guess this deep black coat is my favorite. The knee length is elegant. The teddy fur looks comfy. The deep black color looks sophisticated.

Very classic Burberry pull over.

Very military. Very Michael Jackson.

Fitted shirt with bold shoulder, slim pants and boots flatter a slim figure.
Treggings and slim pants are definitely on.

I really loved the collection. I would love love more gentlemen out there to come out there wearing those. But why the hell Christopher Bailey doesn’t put on the style he has created? Pants are not fitted, shoes are hidden, the jacket is not military. Is it like cooks who get sick of what they have cooked, and cannot enjoy their own dish as much as guests do?
