I woke up early saturday morning to watch Avatar at the opening of the theater. I was at Gaumont Montparnasse in Paris (by the way I’m back to Paris for 6 months… At least… I don’t know whether I should cry or enjoy. I need to explain that to you one day). Anyway, the movie is great. It really is.

James Cameron introduced it as a dream eyes wide opened. And that’s it. It’s my childhood dream. The trailer didn’t even give me some feeling a bit close to what I felt watching this movie. When I was a kid, I used to climb in trees and jump from branch to another. I would love to command my raptor (or my carpet) to go wherever I wanted to go and be back before mom noticed I was away. The movie is 2:30 long, but I never bothered, never watched my watch.
It feels powerful and emotional. It’s cute. And Na’vis are bombshell. Just go enjoy it.
