Seems that Apple is considering France as one market that counts. 8 months after a first one, a second Apple store will open up tomorrow near Place de L’Opera in Paris .

Ok ok! Considering how the Cuppertino firm treated European complaints with the first iPhone (disdain), it’s premature to say that Europe (or France) is a market of importance. Let’s face it, a bunch of Asian countries comes first. That’s business, Asia is growing faster (not yet bigger) than Europe does. And we’re far far far away from the presence Apple gets in the US.

But come on! It’s worth pointing out it’s the second store in less than 1 year. Hey, a lot of companies are still struggling to come out the crisis!

Oh, we were at the Louvre store but unfortunately iPhones are all sold out (in Germany where I live iPhones are locked to accept only SIM cards from T-Mobile). So bad that we left Paris on the day they opened the Opéra store.

I bought mine on the Internet. People were queueing in for hours when it debuted. It’s worth every penny I throw in.
