After winning CFDA/ Vogue Fashion Fund Award, worth US $200,000, last year, Alexander Wang adds the Swiss Textile Award 09, a $150 000 prize to his crown.

Every year, the Swiss Textile Award is presented at the Swiss Textile Federation international fashion event, the Stella Fashion Night. Designers cannot apply by themselves. They are nominated and judged by international experts.

The previous years winners were Rodarte in 2008, and Marios Schwab in 2007.
