I was looking at Cindy Crawford last ad for Omega and I realized it’s been a while she’s their ambassador.

Do you know when she started the collaboration? 1995. 14 years. She was 29.Freshly got divorced from Richard Gere. Yet a renowned top model, but not yet the mutlti-business woman/ happily married wife/ proud mother she’s now. Cindy Crawford is Omega longest-time ambassador. She doesn’t participate in campaigns making, but she takes part in product design and events. Omega ad is kinda testimony of Cindy Crawford model’s career. I’ve always admired her since my childhood. I think she’s really a beautiful woman.

From ads to events, this is a tribute to Omega and Crawford collaboration.

This ad above has just been released in Oct09 for celebrating the 10th anniversary of the co-axial mouvement. It was the first practical new watch escapement invented in 250 years. Basically, it reduces the frictions between the watch component responsible for the balance’s oscillations. It results in lower maintenance. They are several ambassadors, among them Buzz Aldrin or Georges Clooney, to be the face of this worlwide campaign. That’s a shame that they photoshoped so much Crawford’s face. I’m nor against photoshop. I prefer seeing dream add than reality ones. But here, I think Crawford is way more beautiful than this portrait.
